The run-in for the 2009/10 LSPL was unbelievably tight, with four fiercely contested title races taking place. The final tables are below, congratulations to all the teams who topped their table to secure a place at Old Trafford.
There was nothing to choose between Real Romelle and Meltis Mexicans this season as they regularly exchanged the top spot, but it was the Mexicans who emerged as 2009/10 LSPL Champions by the tightest of margins.

Streatham Stanley were crowned Division 2 winners after a withdrawal in Alumni’s league meant that they were knocked off the top in the final week. Stanley were worthy winners as they had pushed Alumni all season, but it was a cruel twist for last year’s LSPL Cup winners.

A late charge from Aardvark FC saw them clinch the Division 3 title, they were pushed all the way by Potters FC but 13 points in their last 5 league games was enough to give them the title.

County Thistle FC found their form in the second half of the season to win the Division Four title at a canter. Wilf Kroucher did enough to take second, but Thistle were dominant after Christmas and finished off their season with a phenomenal run of 9 straight league wins.
