Liz has 15 years experience as a top class international athlete. She has developed a world class reputation as an outstanding endurance performer, winning the Bronze medal in the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne and finishing first Briton home in the Athens Olympic marathon in 2004.

Liz ran the London Marathon in April 2008, where she finished 9th, with a personal best time of 2.28.33 and secured her place in the Beijing Olympics 2008 where an unlucky fall resulted in a 26th place finish. She has represented Great Britain over 25 times on the roads, track and cross country and is highly respected as one of the UK's finest female athletes.

Through training seminars and the online forums Liz passes on her advice and experiences, to not only to her runners, but feeds back to those following the Runner's World campaign allowing maximum exposure to her expertise.
