The Lucozade Sports Science Team offer a wide range of services including nutritional advice and guidelines for sport, applied sports science testing across a wide range of sports for various sporting individuals from grass roots level right up to professional level. The team has been working in the field for over three years and have engaged with hundreds of thousands of people clearing up mixed messages in sports nutrition and helping people finding their edge.

Behind the scenes we also answer questions directed in through the Ask a Sports Scientist a question link on the website.  Some of the more commonly asked questions are as follows: 
  • I would like to put on weight – what is the best way of doing this.
  • I am just starting to run and I would like to get off on a good foot – what should I be eating.
  • How do you know if you are hydrated?
  • When running – what is the best thing to drink and why?
  • I am going on a trek to the Himalayers – which of your products will provide me with fuel.
