When to Use
- During training or fixtures, 45 minutes or longer in duration and at a high intensity, where both carbohydrate and fluid are critical to performance.
How to Use
- Before: Drink 200-500 ml shortly before to top up your energy stores and ensure you are hydrated.
- During: Drink 125-150 ml every 15-20 min to deliver an energy boost and to replace the fluid and salts lost in sweat.
- After: Drink at least 500 ml as soon as possible to aid recovery in replacing the carbohydrate, fluid and salts lost during playing.
