When to use

During events of all durations, from 5k to marathon, to maximise the impact of caffeine on performance. However, Lucozade Sport with Caffeine Boost should be trailed in training before competition, on a moderate duration high intensity training session to check it works for you.

How to use

  • Before: Drink approximately 500 ml 60 min prior to exercise to allow the caffeine to peak in the blood stream.
  • During: Drink 125-150 ml every 15-20 min to deliver an energy boost and to replace the fluid and salts lost in sweat.
  • After: Drink at least 500 ml as soon as possible to aid recovery and replace carbohydrate, fluid and salts lost during running.
