The London Design Museum recently opened Christian Louboutin's first UK retrospective as the legendary designer celebrates 20 years in the business.
We attended the Press Conference to mark the opening of the exhibition with fellow blogger and WMR contributor Alex Loves. A fashionably late Christian Louboutin shared some insights into his iconic designing process, his love of women and this 'very personal exhibition'.
Louboutin shoes are known for their theatricality and artistry, which comes in part from Louboutin's love of cabaret and showgirls - girls who he remembered as 'birds of paradise'. The collection perfectly encapsulates Louboutin's theatricality and artistry of his design - and his love of high heels ("I haven't met a girl who wants shorter legs") is clear.
Louboutin: "my work is not about comfort".
Partnering with the Design Museum, Lucozade Revive are giving you the chance to attend one of a series of Revive Nights in June held at the Design Museum...
So we are putting on Revive Nights each Wednesday in June and will be giving tickets away to the special nights in the last week of May. If you are a lucky winner - you can come along to the Design Museum, have a Revive and dream about which red-soled Louboutin's would work perfectly in your wardrobe.
Sound good? Follow us on Twitter here and we will announce the competition later in the month.
Have you been along to the exhibition yet? What did you think? If you havent make sure you get down there before the 9th July and have a look at the Design Museum website here.
