100 Students. 3000 Frames.

Michael Andrews - Bubbles In Space from Josh Hassin on Vimeo.

Michael Andrews famous for his cover of the Tears for Fears song “Mad World” (recorded with Gary Jules) has recently finished a brilliant collaboration with over 100 students from San Diego-based High Tech High International. The students drew over 3,000 frames to create the fantastic promo for his new single “Bubbles in Space”.

Lovely stuff!

The Exquisite Forest

Google, The Tate Modern and creatives Chris Milk & Aaron Koblin have launched a new art project named 'The Exquisite Forest'.
Taking a cue from the Surrealist writing technique known as the Exquisite Corpse, the Exquisite Forrest aims to build a collaborative multi-faceted animated art project that anyone who has access to a computer can take part in. The forest 'trees' are made up of tiny animations that branch off one another creating a series of chaotic spiralling narratives.
Not content to just have the project live in the digital space - The Tate Modern is currently housing a physical installation of the project.

If you are in London over the next few weeks be sure to check it out!

Delta Heavy

The new promo for Delta Heavy's 'Get By' has already hit over 1 million views in three days. This comes as no surprise to the Witnessmyrevival team as director Ian Robertson has created a slice of stop-motion nostalgia brilliance.

Finding novel uses for a variety of kitchen utensils Robertson deftly animates the demise (and ultimate revival) of a plethora of board game classics.

Now for the obvious question... How many board games did you spot?
